The FAA regulations do not specify minimum required classroom time for candidates who want to obtain this certification. So, it is up to a flight training facility and a student’s personal flight instructor to determine the required study hours. The break-down is as following:
| 7 hours of complex aircraft training (Piper 44), of which | ||||
| 5 hours of dual instruction flight time | ||||

Theoretical Training
The FAA regulations have certain minimum aeronautical experience requirements that are based on the flight time that an average person with good pilot abilities requires to become proficient in execution of CPL maneuvers necessary to obtain your private pilot license. Our course is based on these requirements and will, as a minimum, include:
| 50 hours of ATPL classroom and self-guided theoretical studies |
